My dad used to love cricket and thats how i started loving cricket. Dad taught me everything about cricket and then he taught me that there are 2 kinds of players in Cricket; one is Sachin and then the rest.
We watched Cricket together. We loved watchin Sachin Tendulkar play, win the matches, score tons, taking wickets, fielding, and making the crowd call out Sachin Sachin Sachin tru out the match. I hated watchin Sachin getting out, i'm sure most of the people loving cricket (Both Indians and Foreigners) hated that particular moment. Even Darren Sammy who took the catch last day was sad. Everyone would miss the legend on the field now. I still remember those stupid exams which came the next day there was a match but then i didnt miss Sachin playing, i would always ask dad to call me when Sachin would come to the crease and my dad was more than happy to call me up when Sachin came up. I have heard parents telling their kids when Sachin gets out "Why the hell do you want to watch Cricket even after Sachin is out". There will be a lot of other cricketers who would break Sachin's record but then they would be just passengers walking Sachin's path coz there is only one Sachin and no one else would be standin as tall as what Sachin have stayed both in the field and in the hearts of millions. I always enjoyed watchin Cricket when Sachin used to play. Now im goin to miss Cricket, I am never goin to enjoy Cricket like i used to, I am never goin to love Cricket like i used to coz i am and millions of us are goin to miss the GOD of Cricket.....
Words from a friend of mine and a hard core fan of Sachin, translated by me
So now there will be no Sachin on the field for a Spectacular Indian Innings. Sad but that's what the fact is.......
But those wonderful innings can never be wiped off from my memories. Millions would be having those memories deep inside. I started loving Cricket after watchin Sachin play and i believe most of the people would have loved watching the game just for the fact that they could watch God coming to the field to play.
From the day i started loving Cricket, every time i wait for a cricket match played by India all that comes to my mind is Sachin. And then my heart goes Sachin Sachin Sachin Sachin......
I have never wanted Sachin to get out whenever he played for India. The moment Sachin gets out was the saddest part in my life. All i wished for or asked to god almigthy while watching him play was him to score a ton.
Probably the younger generation would break Sachin's records but then no one will rise up to step into the Shoes of Sachin. The first man in the Universe to score a double century, the first Cricketer to get 10000 runs in ODI, first Cricketer to pass 15000..16000...17000....18000 runs in the ODI all those records which he has will be his and others breaking them would be mere passengers walking Sachin's path. There are a lot of heroes in Cricket, heroes who rise to the occasion to win the match, heroes who keeps the team united to make sure they win the matches, heroes who bowls well to restrict the opposition team but then there is Sachin - God of Cricket; the Ultimate Hero; the Hero of heroes; a True Legend. I feel blessed and proud to have lived in an era when Sachin-The God of Cricket used to play. I feel pity on the generations coming ahead that they missed watching a true legend and the God of Cricket playing cricket. I would certainly have a lot to tell to my next generation about a legend who had conquered millions of hearts all around the world. A story about all those amazing innings, the magical moments that he gifted us; i'm sure that all Indians who love Cricket will have this story to tell to their next generation.
Tears rolls down while writtin this coz i am goin to miss his so much. I will miss Cricket Love ya God Love ya Sachin........ You will be always playing an unending innings in my heart.......
We will miss you #Sachin
#ThankyouSachin for all those wonderful innings
We love you Sachin
