I found myself idling away a couple of hours at home due to a power outage, reminiscing about the enjoyable moments my friends and I had during our college days. Even though it hasn't been long since I graduated, it's amazing how swiftly life has progressed. I can still vividly recall my first day of college, and now, it's already been three years. We created wonderful memories at NCIT, despite the silly rules, punishments, fines, and so on. When I look back, I can picture myself sitting on those benches with my friends scattered around, laughing, cracking jokes, hugging, tossing paper balls, and engaging in small conflicts that brought us closer. We shared lunch from the same tiffin box, shouted at each other, hung out together, faced punishments together (which we strangely enjoyed), exchanged playful banter, argued with our teachers, and helped each other in countless ways. The list of memories is endless. Tears well up in my eyes when I realize that those days are now behind us. Currently, everyone is out there, some engrossed in their own pursuits, while others are earnestly striving to achieve their goals. People become occupied, and these memories often get tucked away in a corner of their minds. People move forward, much like the wind, and that's just human nature. However, there will come a time when we'll look back, after a long while, and these memories will bring a smile to our faces, accompanied by teary eyes. It's just that I've started doing that now. Sincerely, Karthik Prakasan
